  I went here after my insurance changed for a contact eye exam. I scheduled the appointment stating it was for a contact eye exam and never received a quote. I was told to wear my contacts and bring my glasses so the doctor could view the contacts in my eyes. ( After 12 years of contact wear this was the first time any optometrist has asked me to do this) Without telling me what he was doing the doctor took pictures of my eyes with my contacts and then proceeded to tell me why I should change to daily wear contacts and stated that i should wear my glasses for the next few weeks because my eyes were under a lot of stress from wearing my "monthly" contacts lenses for longer than the suggested two week period. He then told me that the contact exam would be three hundred dollars more than the estimated 86 dollars and after I told him I was never quoted he said nothing. I was shocked as my insurance according to the optometrist requires i pay in full myself then bill the insurance company and wait for a refund. I asked him if I could quickly call my mother to see if she could help me financially, as this was my last pair of contacts and I have not worn my glasses for an entire day in twelve years and severely needed to walk out with some new contacts that day. His response was that he was out of time and our appointment was over so I needed to schedule another appointment next week and this visit was going to be a medical visit so my insurance would not cover it. I was then charged 65 dollars and left with no prescription, no contacts, and wearing glasses until I could see a different optometrist. Basically I got to pay them 65 dollars for wasting an hour of my time!
